This isn’t a polished video, and, as you’ll see, I sometimes stutter, and definitely am not sure where I’m going with my thoughts sometimes, but this video isn’t meant for work or sitcom television or whatever – it’s just from me to you.
Growing up in foster care is hard in a way that only others who have lost their parents at early ages can attest to. Two articles that I’ve written that compliment this video are: The reality for many former foster kids, and Being who you are, not where you come from.
