Hi everyone, It is SO not in my nature to ask something like this, but I do need your help. I just got an e-mail that said:

Although I just joined, there are only 250 contributing writers, so not being on a list of 500...]

Anyway, it’s kind of distressing because I’ve been writing my heart out. It would be really nice if any of you would be willing to buzz my story. It looks like I will be posting up a blog like this monthly.
The reasons I want to be successful in writing, is one, I am trying to be helpful. I do care a lot about other people, and want them to read what I write so that no one feels all alone in all the crazy things we go through.
Secondly, I want to be successful as a writer, because it’s a dream I think I have a gift for, and something I might actually be able to accomplish. I’m sorry that sounds so negative, but I love to write, and it would be amazing to actually feel successful.
I guess the third is that if I am consistently on the top read list, I just might start making some money from writing (I’ve been writing for free for foster care journals, adoption journals, anthologies, etc, for the last 10 years. Some of my writing is even given distributed nationally on a daily basis to adoptive parents!) If I started making even a little money writing, I might be able to justify a website that isn’t Google-dependent!
Anyway, I am really embarrassed asking, but it would be great if you would.
